Crime Prevention Training Concepts, LLC provides a broad range of risk mitigation activities; including training seminars and workshops, educational resources, and security consulting services. Church Focused WorkshopsCPTC offers a dynamic four-hour training workshop entitled House of Worship Crime Prevention Workshop. This workshop focuses upon developing a security awareness, identifying internal and external risks that are associated with churches, physical security and target hardening, and the last session targets cost effective proactive initiatives-what we at CPTC like to refer to as developing a church security ministry. The trainers at CPTC understand that protecting a church is vastly different from protecting just another building in a community because a church is much more than just a structure. A church's mission and outreach goals are unique in their own vulnerability areas. Successful workshops have just been completed in various areas of the country including Louisville, KY, Niceville, FL, Madison, AL, Kokomo, IN, Huntsville, AL, Grove City, OH, and Pensacola, Florida. Hundreds of church administrators, lay leaders, church finance officers, facility managers and law enforcement officers from numerous states have attended, including international representatives from Germany. CPTC is always interested in taking a House of Worship Crime Prevention Workshop to areas and churches that are proactive in their approach and thinking related to crime prevention, knowing that they could become the next church crime victim. Educational Resource MaterialCPTC prides itself in delivering what police officers and concerned community members need to meet their particular challenges. For the crime prevention officer or specialist, CPTC is offering a new self-help tool that we’re calling PowerPoint presentation packets. These packets will include everything the crime prevention officer needs to teach a topic to community members or for roll-call training. Each topic will include an extensive PowerPoint media presentation, lecture notes, and handout materials that can be modified to be used in a training brochure. Each packet will be individualized to reflect the ordering Department. The first series is now in production and will include the topics:
